Fall is approaching around the corner and it's time to sign up for the 2011 fall mini sessions! These sessions are the cheapest in over three years!

Mini sessions will be held Sunday, October 16th, 2011 at Celestial Park in Addison, TX.

Weekly Challenge #6 (Do-Over!) - "Eyes"

Welcome to week six (the do-over) of my new weekly photo challenge. This challenge is open to everybody regardless of camera type or skill level. It’s all about creativity and having fun!

Here is the winner of the fifth week of the challenge!



This montage was captured by Tiffany Moore. She said she didn't even know she'd captured the images until she loaded up her memory card on the computer. I love those surprise images! To see all the entries head over to the facebook page.

To participate, it’s easy. I will give a weekly word and it’s up to you to interpret that word in photo form. After you take your photo, simply email it to me at brandi@brandithompsonphotography.com and I will upload it to my facebook page to share with everybody. After the submission period is over, I will pick a winner to be featured the following week on the blog along with a new word for the next challenge.

NOTE: I started this challenge to encourage people to take new photos that pertain to the theme. People have primarily been submitting photos they already had on hand. This is okay and for now I will continue to accept them but please consider taking some time and really create a photo especially for the challenge. Thanks!

You have until Thursday, September 1st at 12:00 PM to email me your photo. If you have a site, blog or anything else you’d like me to link to if you win, please make sure to include it in the description. Also, feel free to tell us about your photo and thought process! This isn't required, you can always just let everybody interpret it themselves.

Alexis and Davis - Dallas Deep Ellum Engagement Session!

I had a great time braving it in the heat with these two college cuties. They met each other in school while they lived in the same dorm. When he proposed, Davis took Alexis back to the same spot they first met at the dorm. I think that's awfully romantic! They are getting married next spring at the Heard Museum in McKinney, and I know it's going to be both unique and beautiful!


































































Thanks for braving the heat you two, I think it was well worth it :)

Well, I am still working on finishing Alexis and Davis's engagement session and hopefully will have it done sometime today but for now here's a couple shots I took for Zaida's seven month session. She's getting so big!

Jeni and Todd's Richardson Anniversary Photo Session!

Here we have another modern love story. These two good looking kids met on Facebook. They both commented on a mutual friend's post and from there it was love at first.. type? :) They've been married a year now and you can tell how much they love one another. They were full of smiles and laughter. They were also great troopers in the blistering heat. Check it out for yourself.
