Animals, Family, and Friends - Oh my!

Dear blogging world.. Let me tell you, it's been one hell of a week. I had a huge project due on Friday that was giving me just a wee bit of concern. But, you will all be glad to know it was successfully completed and turned in on time!

I still have not blogged pictures from our day out for my brother Jonathan's birthday. Yesterday (Friday the 3rd) was his actual birthday, so happy birthday "little" brother! I will try and get those up sometime this next week, so stay tuned.

My Mother came down from Idaho last weekend and stayed a few days. As you know from previous posts, my grandmother is not doing well and that's why my Mother came down. I did go out to Mineola again last Tuesday to spend some time with my family and see my Grandmother again. I wish I could say she's doing better, but she's not. My heart is heavy, but I know that she would want me to live my life and be a success - that is what would make her the happiest.

I have lots coming up this month! Today I am second shooting a wedding out in Arlington with the fabulous Ayesha from BeDazzled Photography. I think we're going to have a blast and I will have some of my images up in the coming weeks. I've also got a cat portrait session, several couples and engagement sessions and a family session coming up this month. I am looking forward to them all!

Now for some random pictures.

Here is a snapshot from March 19th when I met a few of my photography buddies up at On the Border.

Left to right: Me, Charlotte, Jenni and Robin.

Here is a shot of me with my 12 year old brother Joshua from Tuesday out in Mineola.

That's my "It's only Tuesday but it feels like it should be Friday already" face. :)

Here are some random shots I took of the Thompson kiddos. All except Harley, she wasn't in the mood.

Tomorrow is Brian's nephew Zachary's birthday party! That should hold lots of fun and excitement.

I hope this next week is better for you than the last one! We had a bit of a stressful one too... good, but stressful. Your cats are so cute! :)
