Fun in the Sun.. in January!

Today was an amazing 76 degrees, or something ridiculous like that. Blue skies and bright sunshine. Went out to enjoy a vacation today with a couple of lovely friends of mine, and just have fun snapping some pictures for no particular reason.

Kristy obliged me with a few quick portraits. Love the pink hair.. it takes me back!

Go, go sunflare!

The three of us in the shiny gas tank of a motorcycle.. we are indeed rebels!

We went exploring in this lovely old cemetery. I've always liked cemeteries, I think they're peaceful, and you can't help but ponder the lives of the people there.

The wear from the rain almost makes it seem like she's been crying.

I love contrast.

It's like the shadows caused by the sun are etching the words even deeper into the stone.

Snap, snap.

I love this. There were bits of tree grown over the fence in multiple areas. They had actually removed the rest of the tree, but left random limbs, some quite large in size, stuck in the fence. It's a reminder that the Earth is so powerful, and it can overcome manmade objects. Nature is a wonderful thing.

Okay pink hair rocks. And especially your portraits of her! Love the shallow depth... what lens were you using? :)
