Anyhow.. Today I went out to visit with the kitties from North Texas Cat Rescue! As always I enjoy spending time with the wonderful kitties there.
Today there were several camera shy kitties who much rather play than have their photos taken, but you do what you can! Here we go!
Helen

Patrick

Drake

Drake really was not interested in my camera at all! It is a pity since he was GORGEOUS and so so so sweet. Go meet him in person, you'll love him!
Sylvie

Soooo gorgeous! And so playful!
Chantal

LouLou

Loulou has a little white tip on her tail, very cute!
Evie

Is there anything cuter than a little pink kitten tongue? I don't think so!
Farley

This little girl (yes, it's a girl!) was sooo sweet and laid back. She was purring up a storm. She is a tiny little thing and I can see that she is the PERFECT lap cat. Yes, more pink kitten tongue!
Zoe

Another super laid back kitten, Zoe was so sweet and cuddly.
Bing

Bing was so curious!
Antionette

Ooh I love the luxurious color of a russian blue kitty! How gorgeous is she?
Noir?

I am not entirely sure about this sweetie's name. It's something French, so I will have to ask again to make sure I get it right. I know it's something related to being a black cat, so we'll just say "Noir" for now, since I know that's black!
Also, I wanted to post a picture of Amanda's (one of the great volunteers) bottle cap earrings that she's making as a fun way to raise money for the kitties!

You can see some earrings and other work at her MySpace Page!
If you are thinking of getting a pet for Christmas, please make sure it is a decision that is well thought out. It is a great idea to have a warm new friend to cuddle with in cold weather, but don't forget that they need just as much care and love when we are all back to our regular every day lives as well. So talk with your family, including your children, about the responsibility of owning a pet before bringing one home! I cannot say enough about HOW WONDERFUL the cats at NTCR are! They are given lots of love and attention by their foster parents, and it is very evident. Take a look at all of NTCR's cats and see if there may be one to be your new family member!
