I thought today I'd just make a personal-type post.
First.. I, of course, have to say congratulations to America for electing Barack Obama the next president. While I have respect for people of varying opinions, I cannot hide my own. Brian and I, along with a couple of friends, attended a watching/victory party on Tuesday night.
Here's a shot of the huge TV we were in front of at the pivotal moment:

We feel amazed to be witness to a moment that will go down in the history books.
Now.. onto matters of less importance. You may have noticed that I am in school perusing my Bachelors degree in Fashion Design. You may not be shocked to find out that, I do indeed, love clothes. I particularly love yummy vintage clothing. I'm a huge thrift hound (when I have time) and I have found quite a few pieces in thrift stores. Here are a few, I thought I'd share!

A super long, gorgeous, adorable 70's dress. Don't you adore the polka dots?(ooh.. magical tilty fence!)

I love this dress so much. It is 70's polyester at it's finest. I adore the lacey cape dresses! I would have some in all colors of the rainbow if I could.

A knitted dress from a Neiman Marcus line. I have tried to date this dress, but I am unsure if it's 60's or 70's. It could be either. It's adorable though.

I even love vintage labels. Yum.
Anyhow.. more photos coming up soon, after all that's what you come here for, right? ;) Music video Friday will be served up fresh and tasty tomorrow!
